MM2H Prerequisites
Financial Requirements:
Applicants are expected to be financially capable of supporting themselves on this programme.
Upon Application
Applicants below the age of 50 :
- Applicants are required to show proof of liquid assets ie cash worth a minimum RM 500,000 and offshore income of RM 10,000 per month
Applicants above the age of 50 :
- Applicants are required to show proof of liquid assets ie cash worth a minimum of RM 350,000 and offshore income of RM 10,000 per month
Upon Approval
Upon receipt of a conditional approval letter from MM2H, the agent will assist with opening a fixed deposit account.
Applicants below the age of 50 :
- Open a Fixed Deposit Account of RM 300,000, and after a period of one year can withdraw up to RM 150,000 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children and medical expenses.
- Must maintain a minimum balance of RM 150,000 from second year onwards under this programme
- Note : However approved participants who have purchased own property which was bought at a purchase price of RM 1,000,000 and above, need only to comply with a basic fixed deposit account of RM 150,000, only on condition that the property has been purchased by cash and can produce proof of a title.
Applicants above the age of 50 :
- Open a Fixed Deposit Account of RM 150,000 and after a period of 1 year can withdraw up to RM 50,000 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, car purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical expenses
- Must maintain a minimum balance of RM 100,000 from second year onwards under this programme
- Note : However approved participants who have purchased own property which was bought at a purchase of RM 1,000,000 and above, need only to comply with a basic fixed deposit of RM 100,000, only on condition that the property has been purchased by cash and can produce proof of a title.

All Applicants and their dependants are required to submit a Medical Report from any private hospital or registered clinic.
Medical Insurance
Approved participants and their dependants must possess valid medical insurance coverage that is applicable in Malaysia from an insurance company, which the agent will assist with
